Hi!!
I'm an Industrial Designer from Kolkata, India; currently a Graduate Industrial Design Student at ArtCenter College of Design, Pasadena, CA.
Born and raised in Kolkata, India, I have been fortunate enough to have travelled and lived in many places around the world, lived in London and Singapore for extended periods. Understanding different cultures, habits and perspectives gives me insight into other lifestyles and understanding empathy for the fellow human being.

Provolv Cricket - Singapore
2015 - 2017
Was one of the co-founders of the motion-tracking training system based sports-technology startup based in Singapore, geared towards the Indian-Subcontinental market.
I was in-charge of the industrial design of the wearable, and UI/UX of the accompanying phone application, which I later used for extensive user testing in the field and during live play sessions. I worked with the R&D hardware team to fine tune the technology and improve the UX based on feedback.
I also helped in establishing the branding and design the go to market strategy of the startup. I was fortunate to help the team launch the start-up in Dublin, and reach an initial evaluation of $1.8 million.
Metalworks by Maxus Global - Singapore
2014 - 2016
Was a part of the industrial design team, in the R&D lab of the media agency Maxus Global. I was part of the teams that worked with clients including the Fiat - Chrysler Group, Glaxo Smith Kline, Nestle, and Loreal a portfolio worth over $1.5 million.
Was a part of the core-team that worked on the WPP retail forum held at Miami in 2014. The forum was about raising awareness among retailers about emergent technology that would dictate the Future of Retail. Many of the concepts we presented have become reality, like cash-less payments, e-wallets, self-pay/ checkouts, and cashier-less payment systems.
